As everyone knows the greatest form of advertising is by word-of-mouth. The Internet has a "word-of-mouth" approach all it's own called, Recommend-it.

Recommend-it gives a web site owner the opportunity to use its visitors to obtain more traffic to their sites. By placing a small banner on your site, a visitor may click on the banner, fill out a form with the email address of the person they would like to notify of the site's existence and you have yourself another visitor referred by a friend or associate.

Recommend-it is a free service for web site owners. They also have an affiliate program so that in addition to gaining increased traffic to their sites, web site owners can earn a few bucks when another web site owners places Recommend-it on their site. Recommend-it will also send you a monthly report regarding the amount of visitors that were referred to your site per week. I recommend that you place the Recommend-it button on your home page for the best results.

The best thing about Recommend-It is that is doesn't give the visitor an opportunity to give your web site a bad review. You know the saying, "make one customer happy, they'll tell ten of their friends about you, make one customer unhappy, they'll tell one hundred!"
